The Iomega iConnect Wireless Data Station is very compact, portable and a flexible device, supporting variety of features like BitTorrent client, Media Streaming and lots more. But when coming to performance of the USB 2.0 over the Gigabit port its way slower than the other NAS devices. On connecting a few hard disk to the server via the USB ports reported a disappointingly slow Write and Read speeds of about 84.7 Mbps and 217.5 Mbps respectively. On switching the Gigabit port to Wireless connection it showed much slower rates of 29.9 Mbps and 27.9 Mbps. But its worth for the cost and its design shadows the low transfer speeds.
